About Meg
Hello there! My name is Meg Gullotto, and my art path has taken some unusual turns. While I have always been focused on visual arts, my first true art goals emerged in high school when I instantly connected with the idea of drawing comics. This led me to the Savannah College of Art and Design where I earned my BFA in 2008, with a major in Sequential Art and a minor in Illustration. Circumstance at the time, however, made pursuing a career in these fields less than realistic for me, and for more practical reasons I entered the Medical Illustration graduate program at the Medical College of Georgia in 2010. In 2012 I graduated with my Masters of Science degree in this more niche field. Since then, I have been gainfully employed in the Medical-Legal arena, creating exhibits for attorneys to show their clients’ injuries and surgeries.
Still, though, my true love lies in comics, illustration, character design, and storytelling, and I still create as much of that as I can in my personal time!
